Brake Caliper Brackets made by RALLYROAD.NET for the E46 M3.
CNC Machined Brackets are designed to fit a Porsche 996 Brembo REAR caliper to the E46 M3 Rear.
We offer brackets for the E46 M3 so you can install the popular Porsche Brembo 996/Boxster-S caliper upgrade.
CNC Machined Brackets are designed to fit a Porsche 996 Brembo front caliper to the E46 M3 front spindle.
You use any E46 M3 rear rotor.
No machining is needed.  These brackets bolt onto the rear knuckle and then you bolt the caliper to the bracket.
Small amount of trimming on the backing plate is required because the caliper is larger than stock.
Brackets are made from high strength steel and MIL spec black zinc plated for corrosion resistance.  The supplied bolts are grade 12.9.
Although we are the only producers of this bracket, similar style brackets for other vehicles sell for 0 to 0 per pair.
Calipers used for this conversion are Rear Calipers from the 1999-2004 Porsche 996 (non-turbo), the Boxster S or the Cayman S.  All these calipers are made from the same Brembo casting.
The Porsche caliper part numbers for this conversion are:
996.352.421 (driver side)
996.352.422 (passenger side)
Calipers will vary in color between Porsche model and options, but the castings will be the same as will the piston sizes.  A pair of calipers can regularly be found between 0 and 0.  If you are having trouble finding calipers for that price, please contact us.  We may just have a pair of calipers to sell within that price range or we can direct you to one of our caliper sources.
*Use the
FRONT
pads from a Boxster non-S in these rear calipers.  This provides proper pad placement and gives a full sweep of the rotor surface.  No rust rings on your rotor when using this brake setup.
We offer DOT approved brake lines that are specific for this brake combination on the E46 M3.
