The F Sport™ lowering spring set lowers the vehicle by approximately 1 inch in both the front and rear, projecting a more aggressive appearance. This drop also provides a lower centre of gravity, resulting in enhanced on-road performance through quicker turn-in, improved steering response and increased cornering ability. The lowering springs have been engineered to maintain the vehicle dynamics and improve performance. This product has been rigorously tested for durability and suspension balance. The lowering springs feature F Sport’s durable blue powder-coat finish that provides superior corrosion resistance.
With this purchase, you will receive (4) New OEM Genuine lowering springs, installation instructions, and hardware for your Lexus IS.
These springs can be used with stock shock absorbers, although F-Sport shock absorbers are recommended.

Why do engines from Japan have low miles ?
It is very expensive to own a car in Japan. Gasoline, Highway tolls, Labor, cost of repairs & insurance cost up to 4 times more than UK. Japanese vehicles have less miles in comparison to the UK. So, a 10 year old car in Japan might have 30,000 miles on the engine compared to 150,000 miles on UK engine. There are no after-market parts, very few body shops and no Salvage yards like in the U.K. Most people use their cars on weekends & take shin-kansen (bullet train) or subway to work. The cost of complying with these tests can run as much as 30% of the vehicle value. Cars with minor body damage are considered unsafe. There are few cars over 6 years old in service. Cars are recycled early. Compound these costs with propensity of Japanese consumers to drive only the latest models. The result is vehicles with tremendously low mileage are recycled. Vehicles in Japan suffer quick depreciation as cost of repairs is extremely high. In fact, this is the very reason why UK car owners are increasingly opting for Japanese engines in order to enhance the performance of their vehicles.
