Pair of Rococo sterling silver candelabra. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Each: Baluster shaft on shaped and raised four-sided base with corner leaves flowing into paw supports. Central socket on spool mount on ball to which are mounted three reeded arms, each terminating in single socket. Shaft and arms entwined with floral garland. Cast figures of chubby cherubs perched on shaft shoulder. On base more cherubs with streaming garlands in repousse. Frothy and frivolous. Fully marked including pattern no. 10358 and director's letter C (1902-7). Condition: Silver solder repair on one base.
